The Duracool 12a-yf is a natural refrigerant gas, with no greenhouse effect or effect on the ozone layer, based on hydrocarbons.
Duracool 12a-yf ideally replaces the HFO 1234-yf refrigerant that can be found in the refrigeration circuits of newer cars.
In addition, Duracool 12a-yf has molecules larger than the original gases, saving 30 to 40% of gas on the full charge of the refrigeration system. Each can of 227 grams is equivalent to 454 grams of HFO 1234yf
