For optimum effectiveness, switch on your Thermacell diffuser about 10 to 15 minutes before moving outdoors, so that the protection zone can be established over the long term. Insert the blue plate under the grille, screw the butane gas cartridge into the dedicated slot and turn the knob to the "ON" position. Activate the piezo igniter to start heating. If the insert turns white, it's exhausted and needs replacing. Although formidable against mosquitoes, this product must be used with care: it is intended exclusively for outdoor use and must not be used in enclosed spaces. Take care not to discharge used pads into the aquatic environment, as the active ingredient is highly toxic to aquatic organisms.
